Poster Comment: What a great thumbnail. I can't remember what they what they call it when you can see the whites of someone's eyes above their irises. When you can see the whites below, I think that's called sanpaku. I can't recall what it is when you can see both above and below. I don't like looking people in the eyes anymore. They tell too much and I don't like being lied to.

Sanpaku literally means three whites in Japanese. If the white is visible underneath the iris that is called yin sanpaku. if it is above the iris it is yang sanpaku.
