National News See other National News Articles Title: Groom Gets Rolex Robbed Outside His Wedding Reception Groom Gets Rolex Robbed Outside His Wedding Reception A newlywed man from Philadelphia got confronted by two armed men as he walked out for fresh air outside his wedding reception on Saturday night. According to the groom, he was walking towards National Mechanics Restaurant on South 3rd Street when two armed men confronted him and stole his Rolex. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m and after they stole the grooms watch, they immediately left the scene. The victim described the suspects as wearing all black and reportedly fled in a dark-colored vehicle. Fortunately, the groom was not injured according to the authorities. As of now, the Philadelphia police are currently searching for the multiple suspects involved in the incident. Authorities revealed that there were at least eight armed robberies that have been reported in the city recently. On Friday evening, police received a report after three armed men stole money and jewelry from pedestrians near 22nd and Sansom streets. Another similar incident took place on Tuesday along the 1800 block of Cuthbert Street. According to the reports, two victims were robbed of their Rolex watches worth $37,000. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with these violent thefts. Although the investigations are still ongoing, authorities are asking for help from the residents. When I got back some cop had tagged the truck for parking on curb. I threw the ticket away. A month later they sent the boss a dun for $100.
