The 1.3 million Hispanics added in the year that ended in July 2005 included 800,000 births and 500,000 immigrants, according to census figures released today. The nation grew by 2.8 million overall, to 296.4 million people. Hispanics are the U.S.'s largest minority group, at 42.7 million people, followed by blacks, at 39.7 million, according to the figures. Hispanics are now 14.4 percent of the population and blacks are 13.4 percent, Census spokesman Robert Bernstein said. ``It's important to underscore that a lot of the growth is natural growth, through births,'' said Eric Rodriguez, director of the policy analysis center at the National Council of La Raza, a Washington-based advocacy group for Hispanic Americans. ``Latinos and particularly immigrants are driving up home ownership rates, building communities and tax bases.'' Hispanics were the fastest-growing minority group last year, increasing 3.3 percent, ahead of Asians, the third-largest minority, who grew 3 percent to 14.4 million people, the report said. Blacks grew 1.3 percent. People of Hispanic origin may be of any race, the Census Bureau said in an e-mailed statement. Hundreds of thousands of protesters rallied across the U.S. on May 1 to demand legalization of undocumented workers, many of them Hispanic. The U.S. Senate is set to take up the debate again Monday on legislation to create a new temporary guest worker program and provide a means for an estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. to gain legal status. Immigrant Legislation Last month, progress on the measure stalled over disagreements on how to consider amendments and how to reconcile any final legislation with a House proposal that cracks down on the hiring of illegal aliens and calls for the building of 700 miles of border fencing, without creating a worker program. ``What we've been saying is that Latinos are becoming a larger share of children in school, as well as workers and taxpayers,'' Rodriguez said in a telephone interview yesterday. The Census Bureau said Hawaiians and other Pacific islanders increased their numbers by 1.5 percent to 990,000, and American Indian and Alaskan natives gained 1 percent to 4.5 million. The Census Bureau also released statistics today showing that 12 percent of Americans, or 36.8 million people, were age 65 or older and an estimated 20.3 million U.S. children were younger than age 5. Working-age adults made up 63 percent of the population, at 186.2 million people, the agency said.

the PLANNERS' objective is being realized....
"It takes a couple having two children just too temporarily sustain the standing of our race. It takes one child to take the mothers place and one child to take the fathers place. Now, when a couple has at least three children they have reached the replenishing point. One child taking the mothers place, one taking the fathers place, and the third (or any amount after the third) child is now helping to replenish the white race above and beyond the sustaining factor of the two that are just taking the place of their parents, in the long term population standing. "This is not an option. The entire White race is facing extinction! A factor of three must be drilled into every white childs head from the moment they are born. The very survival of our race depends on it. Three children, minimum! So
you say you cant afford to have any children, I say you cant afford to have less then three. Anything less is just plain genocide! -- Chris Steel "
