It's too bad nobody makes anything like El Camino/Rancheros anymore. If I had my way, I'd be driving one of those 4 wheeler side-by-side things with a cab like John Deere and others make, but they're not street legal. I like small cars. A Mustang GT Ranchero or 2 seat wagon would be cool.

I think 4 door P/Us are dumb. I'm sure if you've got a family that might be a good compromise, but it's a little late in the game for me to start over. Trying is fun though.

Thanks for posting this. The article at ZH peaked my interest, but I was too lazy to go hunting for it. The fellas at ZH are saying that getting one of these geared up to be usable is going to run about $35k. There was some neat units in the 80s, but the emissions crap had the engines weak as 3.2 beer.

My Cherokee finally died with an electrical problem from hell. So, today I say goodbye to it and focus exclusively on resurrecting my other vehicle because between the two, the other one is actually a post apocalyptic survival vehicle.

That sucks. At least you're getting some warmer temps today. You're 10 degrees warmer than me.

As soon as this little bit of snow passes, I'm going to go forage for food then hit the liquor store and pop the question to my 'girlfriend' there, "Are you married?"

There's a 99% probability that the answer is yes given her choice of vehicles (one of two huge Dodge Ram P/Us), 0.9% chance widowed and 0.1% chance lesbian.

I won't mess with #1, #2 would be acceptable and I could 'fix' #3.

I'm more worried what I'm going to find (or not find) at Kroger. It was really bad last time. Thank you, Bare Shelves Bidet.

Our shelves aren’t too bad here, but the prices are insane. Bought a sensible daily driver, to replace the less than rational choice of the Cherokee. “You were born from rust, and to rust, ye shall return.”

All kidding aside, it was fine until the electrical problem and then shit caught fire.

At any rate I hope things improve where you are. Things here are getting stupid with the covid vaccine mandate. The vaxxed want those of us smarter than them to starve until we get our clot shots. I just got over covid for the second time. My immune system ought to be good for the next few variants until we get to Omegacron. Then I’ll be like Charlton Heston in Omega Man.

I suppose a lot of us will be.

Nothing like giving a proper tune up to a lesbian, I applaud you brother if you can pull that off.
