Numerous huge empty ghost towns in China speak volumes of the real estate bubble that could bring the Chinese economy to its knees. Poster Comment: The Chinese never learned how a modern financial system works. It will all come down. That and 40 years of bad weather in this Grand Solar Minimum we entered last year.

Interesting, those two apparent gussets in the lower left hand corner. I wonder if they are supposed to prevent the building from tipping over, as tall buildings sometimes do in China.
Those are the shopping areas of a "mixed unit development". I guess. At least that's what they're called here in Sodom on the Colorado.
Well, since the streets are just dirt, having copious MUD rooms makes a lot of sense.

I follow a man on YT who used to be a food broker in Asia. He speaks Chinese. He talked of what Chinese called tofu construction. Local Communist officials take so much bribe money out of construction projects that builders cut back on needed material. I have seen videos of wind blowing away huge chunks of buildings in China. Imagine what happens to your multi-million dollar investment when the wind blows part of your 30 story apartment building away.
