Most of us are painfully aware of the failures, sins and weaknesses of the West (which I think you can include Caitlin Johnstone's Australia in) but I believe that you'll never be able to persuade the author to remove herself there chiefly because China is a freakish, backwards nation.

The CCP is interested in what benefits the CCP - if that coincides with what benefits the Chinese people, so be it.
