Joe Biden White House officials denied a Wall Street Journal report that leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) refused to take the president’s phone calls. Still, Daily Show host Trevor Noah said even if the reports weren’t true: “This would have never happened to Donald Trump. Never,” because the 45th president kept international leaders “on their toes.”

“Apparently, Saudi Arabia won’t even pick up the phone for the president of the United States,” Noah said, reacting to a Wall Street Journal report noting that Biden has tried — and failed — to get ahold of the leaders of Saudi Arabia and the UAE while he looks to import oil from other countries.

“That must have been really embarrassing for Biden,” the talk show host added. “Can you imagine? He phones them, and they don’t pick up.”

Trevor Noah's remark might not sound like a major shift in leftist thinking, but it is.

There's no way a left-wing commentator would have said anything positive about Trump a year ago, for fear he'd have been crucified by his viewers.

Say what you will, but under Trump, gasoline was under $2.00, people could get what they went to the grocery store for and we weren't on the brink of a nuclear war with Russia.

Wake the hell up, this was planned for a long time...

Right from Obama on, right to the point where Hillary fumbled the election steal in 2016 when Trump got in and stopped it in its tracks for four years.

You really need to get over your Hillary butt-hurtiness. Maybe you'd be better off at a LGBTQAIP+ forum where you can try to groom children to your heart's content. I've never seen you contribute anything positive here.
