Yesterday I completed a major article on the sanctions and their impacts. As Saturday readership is light, I am holding it for release tomorrow.

For now, a brief update on the situation in Ukraine. The Western lie machine continues to speak of “the Russian invasion of Ukraine,” but it is not an invasion of Ukraine. It is a limited military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. The Russian forces have surrounded Kiev, but are otherwise operating only in eastern and southern Ukraine where the bulk of the Ukrainian forces and neo-Nazi militias were preparing an invasion of the Donbass republics. The Ukrainian and neo- Nazi forces are surrounded and cut off. Various of the cities that they held are being cleared by Russian and Donbass forces. The Russians would prefer to negotiate the surrender of the forces to taking the casualties, both Russian troops and Ukrainian civilians, of clearing out the neo-Nazis street by street, but there is no one with whom to negotiate. The titular Ukrainian president, Zelensky, is just a Washington puppet. With or without negotiation, the Russian goal will be achieved.

The presstitute talk of sending in decades old jet fighters from Poland, mercenary armies, establishing a no-fly zone in Ukraine is rubbish. Russian air and ground superiority is total. Any such intervention would be quickly destroyed.

My concern has been that Russia’s limited objective and the care the Russian forces have taken to avoid massive destruction of civilian centers will prolong the war and provide time for the West to make two strategic mistakes: to mount a psyops campaign that will permanently poison relations between the West and Russia, making nuclear war more likely in the future, and provide time for idiots in the West to blunder into a wider war. My concern has been validated. Widespread hatred of Russians has been created by the Western governments and presstitutes, and many US senators, egged on by neoconservatives, are pushing for a wider war. But the Pentagon and Europe have resisted interventions that would widen the war as a wider war means the destruction of Europe.

There is a silver lining in the psyops against Russia. The severing of trade relations with Russia is demolishing the evil of globalism. Even Europe is now talking of becoming self-sufficient in food, energy, and defense, with Germany promising to be independent of Russian energy by next winter, a false hope it would seem. German and US companies withdrawing from their operations in Russia create opportunities for Russian enterprises to take their place. This will be a great benefit to Russia as Russian income will remain in Russia instead of being repatriated to Germany and the US. Russia should never have permitted so much foreign ownership, but the Yeltsin government was too weak to prevent Russia from being raped by the West.

Russia’s frustrating experience with the West might also break the back of Russia’s fifth column that has hampered the Kremlin from a more complete attention to Russia’s interest. The Altanticist Integrationists are enamored of the West and are willing to sacrifice Russian sovereignty to integration into Western globalism. Once Russia is free of this influence, Russia can turn its focus to the East, turn its back on the West and thereby depart the frustrating relations that eventually would lead to a major war.

We have reached the point where peace requires Russia’s withdrawal from interaction with the West. Russia’s natural allies are China and Asia, and Russia’s military superiority can protect Silk Road development from US intervention. As Putin himself has said, the Western world has despoiled and rejected its own values and is disintegrating into corruption and debauchery. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlaHubJ- fKk&t=47s

This is the video in the bad link at the end:

Putin Delivers Speech on Moral Crisis of Western States

The video switches from subtitled to an interpreter about halfway in. I found it better to mute it and continue reading the subtitles in full screen.

The flood of propaganda on Fox is hard to stomach. Certainly there is some truth there -- propaganda usually contains some of it as it otherwise wouldn't be digested at all, though I could believe reports Putin is facing rising discontent among the Russian population. RT isn't addressing or countering that notion so that could well be true.

But Roberts write-up above seems a credible assessment for the most part, with the notable exception of:

Russia’s natural allies are China and Asia,

I disagree strongly. Russia and China are in no way "natural" allies. They are very different culturally and religiously. Russia has lots of empty real estate and China has lots of people, and that's an invitation for disaster. What they do have in common is a shared animosity from the USA and that's about all. And that means that at whatever point the USA no longer matters which could be soon if the dollar collapses, Russia and China will quickly discover that they have problems in their diplomatic relations.

That was about the only thing I disagreed with in the article also. The Bidet's extreme weakness is forcing Russia and China into a very tenuous alliance, along with pretty much the rest of the world, but when the US is done, it will be a free-for-all.

I reckon this is a nominal outcome of letting delusional psychopaths in charge of a once powerful country. What do they care? They think the world is going to end in seven years from the mythical global warming, there is an infinite number of "genders" and adults having sex with children is okeydokey.

What could have possibly gone wrong with a great plan like that?

Putin has a 5th column problem in Russia.

I doubt China has any interests in Siberia other than exploiting natural resources. There is a lot of empty space in China too and for good reason plus they are worried about their declining birth rate.

China has had a one child per family policy for many years. If they have a problem with declining birth rates that is something they have created for themselves. ;)

plus they are worried about their declining birth rate.

Their one-child policy has more long ranging effect than they expected, I think, as many couples, faced with the prospect of only having one child, opted for a boy with the expectation that he'd make more money and take care of them in old age. The result was a disproportionate shortage of women in the current age, meaning a certain percentage of guys can't find women to marry. And of course, population growth is directly related to the number of women in a society, not so much men.

Ironically, those women get their choice of guys to marry making THEM better likely providers for their parents in many cases, as they'll tend to choose wealthier guys. Wealthy guys will be the ones fathering more kids also.

But is China really concerned about their birth rate? I'd say they are not at this time, if they are still concerned about their enormous population.

Russia, on the other hand, most certainly is, as they are facing not just a declining birth rate, but a declining population, just as Europe and the USA is among Caucasian people. I think they are offering free land to immigrants, at least if they are the type they'd want.

Developed, high tax countries lose people while poor & primitive third world countries explode with people.

The 3 child policy just replaces the 2-child policy. They are not at negative growth rate yet but its getting close

Maybe so, but apparently Chinese women and men are delaying marriage and no longer interested in large families. Farmers, like in Korea, have to go to Thailand, Laos, etc. in order to find brides because the locals don't want to live on farms.

the locals don't want to live on farms.

When I was a kid in grade school in the 60s, the teacher was asking everyone what they wanted to be when they grew up.

When it was my turn I said, "A farmer." All the other kids laughed. I became a truck driver instead.

But back in the 60s you could farm and raise a family and still turn a profit. Now the mega farms need credit out the ass to purchase equipment. And the chemical agriculture has stripped the soil of its nutrients so badly you end up being deficient of many minerals needed for optimal health.

I had a big bag of vitamins I carried around with me when I worked for the State Highways.

One of the Foremen told me, "I get my vitamins from my food."

I told him, "No you don't, since the soils have been depleted of nutrients by the chemical farming they are doing." ;)

Sex selection abortions had to be outlawed in Korea. Women are outnumbered by men in China. I met a Chinese executive who could not get a date. He had resigned himself to dying childless. His crime. He was 5'6". He said all the pretty secretaries at work (in Beijing) married men 6 feet tall.

Moral Crisis of Western States

On northwest side of Chicago there was the Admiral Theater. They played XXX rated movies there.

Now I hear it is a Gentleman's Club. That would entail nude dancers. And I bet the liquor flows freely. ;)

Tall men in China can get women. These people are in China. Hard to get foreigners into the country. Shorter men with tech skills could leave and look for poorer Asian women to marry but I do not consider Filipinas to be Asian.

Tall men in China can get women.

The nutrition isn't there yet to produce tall people. The tallest are the Mongolians.

While the Chinese are race proud, they will marry out if that's all that is available. The Caribbean is full of Chinese/native combos; and the Chinese males who are sent to Africa will marry with the natives.

The Yalu River is their Rio Grande with impoverished North Koreans sneaking across. If caught, they get sent back; but no doubt the Korean women would only be too happy to marry Chinese in order to stay in the country.
