Are you aware that the wall the Israelis claim is the remains of the second Temple are actually the remains of an old Roman fortress? This was the eastern extent of the Roman Empire and Centurions needed a safe place to sleep at night. After all, God did not leave a stone upon a stone when he wrecked the Temple. ;)
