When we worked The Highwaymen in Chicago, they told me to follow Kris Kristofferson out of the building to make sure nobody messed with him. He went up the stairs and I went up after him. Great band, the Highwaymen...you don't hear country music like that anymore. Kristofferson had a reputation as a real badass back in the day...heck I suppose all of them did except for Willie. I guess all that pot made him more mellow.
