Biden SCOTUS Nominee Explains Why Child Pornographers Deserve Lighter Sentences

Is clown world now in full swing? Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who was recently nominated by White House occupant Joe Biden for the position of the Supreme Court of the United States, defended giving sentences for child pornographers that were significantly lower than the federal guidelines.

Why did she do that? One may ask.

According to Jackson, fully charging a child pornographer for their crimes would be too harsh during present times given their ability to store so much illicit material on a modern technology we call computers. In other words, the number of images an average defendant possessed would be too many. It seems that Jackson considers child pornography stored on a computer to be a lesser crime compared to that donned in say, a physical photograph or magazine.

or magazine.

I can recall when I was a kid, we would get hold of National Geographic just to see pictures of the natives who at times were topless. LOL

Ha, you must be as old as I am.

Pretty close. IIRC, you were in Air Force and stationed in northern Thailand during Vietnam. You likely are a few years older than I am.

When I registered for the draft Nixon suspended it shortly thereafter. I had a high lottery number. I think 360. No way I would have been called unless it was all out war.

One buddy of mine in Chicago, he was in college and dropped out. He got a draft notice a month later. They sent him to Vietnam.

He was in the invasion of Cambodia. He always carried extra frags. At night they would camp off the trail and set up Claymore mines along the trail.

One night an NVA patrol came thru. The guy on the switch for Claymores was asleep. He just started to throw frags. He was awarded a South Vietnamese medal for killing Communists, but he never picked it up.

He was my immediate supervisor when I did concert security. One show on north side I had to beat the crap out of a couple of guys down front. He saw that and said, "Yeah, Tex got some." LOL

Pretty good memory for an old timer (LOL). Air America flew out of Udon Thani RTAFB...I didn't know what they did until many years later. The Mel Gibson movie "Air America" reminded me of the base and town I was at.

When I registered for the draft Nixon suspended it shortly thereafter.

I avoided the draft by joining the Air Force...turns out I was like 137 on the list.

If you join don't they give you an option on which branch you want to serve, or had you already decided? ;)

I actually enlisted before my number came up for the draft. I figured I'd get a better choice of jobs and schooling and not have to go to Nam. Was in Thailand 73-74 and the war was pretty much winding down, although we got a few sniper rounds shot our way.

We still flew RF-4 reconnaissance missions. I worked in the mobile photo lab analyzing the photos.
