I shared this with my niece and my sister. They just got a 90 pound puppy. Still growing. Convinced he is a lap dog. His name in Moose.

They like dogs to be 100 pounds when fully grown. Technically, a dog is a puppy until age 2. They despise yappy little dogs.
I think the biggest dog I ever had was a German Shepard male. If memory serves ~ 90#.
