To: Sam Hill If Rove IS indicted, I strongly suggest President Bush use his administrative perogative and FIRE special prosecutor Fitzgerald for incompetence.
Seriously. Sometimes I can't help but realize that President Bush has no one but his own self-depreciating policies to blame for his troubles.
Especially in this case where it was obvious from the beginning that no freakin' crime was committed.
But Bush so desparately seeks approval from the Tired Old Media and the Tired Old Democrats that he often cuts his own balls off just to make the lefties feel better.
If I was Scooter Libby or Carl Rove, I'd be furious for putting me through this grand jury baloney for two years when everyone with half a brain can see that Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame should have been charged with nepotism, conspiracy to defraud the CIA, and possibly sedition for attempting to undermine a legitimate US Administration proposal in wartime.
Oh, and (former CIA Director) George Tenent should also have been fired back in 2003 when he asked for this insidious investigation into a bogus "Plame outing."
I am certain that Tenent knew that Plame and hubbby Wilson were blabbing all over Washington DC how they were gonna "get Bush" impeached, etc.
And if Tenent didn't know about the Plame-Wilson gambit, it just proves how incompetent he was all along, since the day he was appointed by Boy Clinton. (Sen. Shelby was right. For years, Shelby had been telling anyone who would listen that Tenent was not only incompetent, but a low-IQ partisan who was ruining the CIA's ability to be effective.)
