After I started working for Illinois State Highways, at the end of the day I was in The Brothers Tavern for a couple of beers after work.
Early afternoon news had a human-interest story. It was about this guy who had found his long-lost brother. The guy was one of the designers at the fag florist I used to do deliveries for as a young man a few years earlier.

The problem with Trabbies (aside from the 722cc air-cooled two-stroke) was that the body was made of the same shit GoodYear was passing off to US consumers circa 1971 as salad bowls.
