Oreo Takes Pro-LGBT Stance In New Ad Spot

It’s not even June yet and already corporations are signaling their allegiance to the progressive LGBT agenda.

The latest seemingly unaffiliated brand to come out in support of the cause is none other than Oreo Cookie, which has been owned by the multinational food and beverage conglomerate Mondelez International since 2012.

The marketing team at Oreo couldn’t wait until “Pride Month” to put out a new commercial spot which featured a young man coming out as gay to his grandmother.

“Coming out doesn’t happen just once. It’s a journey that needs love and courage every step of the way. Share our new film and let someone know you’re their #LifelongAlly,” the ad’s introduction says.

I gave up Oreo cookies. How can I boycott them?

Here’s the funny thing about cookie. I recently went to the store for dog treats, and thought I was rescuing an errant package of some generic brand chocolate chip cookie similar to the other generic cookies that you can buy. Read the ingredients, saw they were gluten free, and used Carob instead of chocolate, and the sugar content was decent as well. Spent $2.98 for a cheap package of cookies.

Put them on the table and forgot about them. Next morning I start my day with coffee, and opened the package. Pulled out one of them to have with my coffee and it tasted pretty amazing. Ate two more. Then looked at the front of the package. They were dog treats.

Cheaper than Oreos and probably a lot healthier. Went to target and bought 3 packages of them. Cashier asks me about my dogs as she has met one of them. She then says your dogs must love these. I said, My dogs don’t eat cookies. She gives me this look, and I tell her, I dare you to eat one of these and tell me it’s a dog treat. She wasn’t having it.

On April Fool’s day I went to my favorite coffee shop and gave a few of these cookies to people. Needless to say, the hardest part of my day was containing my laughter when I told them they were dog treats.

Yeah, but that's almost $21 in dog money. (I have to get that multiplier right.)
