Another Democrat slams Biden over border crisis

Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar slammed the Biden administration for its treatment of Border Patrol agents.

Cuellar shared the remarks during an interview on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday.

“I can tell you in talking to the men and women in green, they don’t want to have somebody from D.C. come in and just give them a pat on the back. They want somebody to really have their back, and they don’t,” Cuellar said.

“Right now, when you talk to men and women in green and in blue, they feel demoralized. They don’t feel that Washington has their backs, and we’ve got to do more than just give them a pat on the back,” he added.

Cuellar also blasted the end of Title 42. “You can’t say we have a pandemic or a public health issue here but then say everything is fine at the border and then lift the Title 42, which is a health order,” Cuellar said.

The views from Biden’s own party show how unpopular the president’s border policies have become, even for a Democrat rep whose district is along the southern border.

Rep. Cuellar should know better than anyone about the havoc caused by illegal immigrants in south Texas.

And if Biden had not stopped the border wall construction, illegal crossings would have been reduced to nothing. But Biden has opened the flood gates and allowed immigrants to come streaming across the border. I hope Gov. Abbott will bus them to the District of Criminals so they can beg for more federal assistance and even jobs that Americans don't want. Fat chance of that happening. Even the Border Czar Kamala Harris has dropped the ball.
