Recently, sanctions were put on China because of their treatment of the Uyghurs, a Muslim ethnic minority in China, and the allegations include China inflicting torture, and rape of nearly one million Uyghurs locked in internment camps. The U.S Department of State said that the Chinese Communist Party is guilty of torture, physical and sexual abuse, mass surveillance, family separation, and repression of cultural and religious expression. China has repeatedly denied such allegations and Chinas State Council Information Office issued The Report on Human Rights Violations in the United States in 2021 this week. The Chinese report goes on to say that the United States allowed human rights to decline further in 2021 using political manipulation which they say led to a surge in covid deaths and caused fatal shootings to rise to huge proportions. China also accused America of having no regard for its citizens right to life and health, with their report revealing that even though the U.S has the worlds most advanced medical resources, they also have the highest covid death rate. China pointed out that the U.S has had 950,000 deaths from covid, compared to Chinas 280,000 confirmed cases and 5,380 deaths, this according to resources used from Johns Hopkins University. Whether Chinas numbers are true or not, remains to be seen as China is well known for sharing inaccurate information, especially when they have been exposed as being behind the virus leaking from Wuhan in the first place. The United States has consistently had one of the highest rates of violent crimes in the world, the report said. Gun control measures have been stagnant and gun violence has been rife. Of course China disarmed its own citizens to prevent any resistance when the communists took over. China then criticized U.S democracy and its trampling on political rights. Ironic when China literally doesnt have the right to vote, the winner is already decided at each and every election. They pointed to the January 6 protests at the Capitol building, saying politically, the U.S is a divided society. The election chaos in the United States has further intensified political polarization and continues to tear the society apart, the report said. China then alleged that money in politics is rampant in the U.S (they would know) and because of politicians taking cash for favors, the interests of their people are all but forgotten. Last but not least, China accused the United States of abusing their ability to use force and have violated other countries human rights, creating a new humanitarian crises across the globe. The U.S. war on terror has killed millions of people, according to the report. Since the 21st century, the United States has launched a series of global foreign military operations in the name of anti-terrorism, resulting in nearly one million deaths. While China attempts to put the U.S in its place regarding human rights issues, basically telling the U.S to sort out its own violations before telling other countries what to do, China is planning and has been for some time, to rake back the nation of Taiwan. Joe Biden has sent a delegation to Taiwan to reassure them that they have Americas support, after the Chinese Communists have laid claim to the island, just off the south coast of mainland China as its own for several decades now. Taiwan, however, has never been governed by the Chinese, thanks to American military backing and sale of defensive arms for over 40 years. The delegation is being led by former George W. Bush and Obama chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mike Mullen and his group will include former Deputy national security advisor, Meghan OSullivan who served under the Bush administration and Michele Flournoy, who served the secretary of Defense under Obama.
