Podcast host Joe Rogan said attempts to cancel him have led to a surge of 2 million new subscribers during an episode “The Joe Rogan Experience” on April 23.
Rogan was joined by conservative writer Douglas Murray to discuss the attempted “cancel culture” efforts that ensued during the comedian’s stance on the Covid-19 vaccine and his past use of the n-word. “You have been put through the wringer, Joe,” observed Murray, who went on to say, “They did a number on you, wow, wow!” according to a video posted by the New York Post.
“They did, it’s interesting, but my subscriptions went up massively, that’s what’s crazy. During the height of it all, I gained 2 million subscribers,” Rogan replied.
