We let them steal the gold from Fort Knox.

China has been accumulating gold in anticipation of releasing a 40% gold backed Yuan. If that ever happens the dollar will crumble into dust since it is only backed by promises to pay.

The FED took the gold from Ft. Knox as collateral on the U.S. debt. As the debt increases, so does the value of gold. That is simple economics. ;)
