Gas stations across the US are running out of fuel and in anticipation of an increase in gas prices, gas stations in the state of Washington are reportedly reprogramming pumps to include double-digit numbers in "price per gallon" as the current trend could put prices over $10.00.

At the 76 Gas Station in Auburn, Washington located at 1725 Auburn Way North, gas pumps have been reprogrammed to make room for double-digit pricing. In March, they still had single-digit programming.

The country will get burned to the ground before we get to $10 plus price per gallon.

I remember when gas was breaking $1/gallon on those analog, spinning dial gas pumps that weren't designed to go over 99 & 9/10th cents per gallon. All transactions were cash so they set the pumps at half price and the station attendants had to do the math in their head.

I had forgotten about that. It was a long time ago.

I remember my dad berating a negro for filling his 1970 Challenger 383 Magnum with low lead regular, 1973 or so. My God, how the tables have turned - the negroes own all of the Challengers these days!

Sideshow.

Remember when we had sanctioned race events, swap meets, or for us poor Kokomo white trash. Cruising? We used to hang out in the parking lot in front of Hill's, I remember exactly one fight happening there, I was involved: Some idiot was really drunk and mistook me for my older brother, and came at me. I knocked him on his ass because he was even drunker than I was, and everyone thought that was was funny as hell and it was over. No shots were fired, I remember helping a pretty girl named Jenny change a flat tire at the park out at the reservoir later that night. No shootings, no unwanted pregnancies...Fuck Joe Biden! :)

Goshen was a big town for cruising back in the day.

I can recall being in Goshen and an Amish buggy was making a left turn.

Some idiot in a car behind the buggy was blowing his horn.

Can you say rude? ;)

Amish (and Hoosiers in general) get pissy about semi truck drivers racing through the town like they were the advance team for Dodge Challengers. Take it back to Chicago, darky! :)

When we drove for Vestal out of Niangua, when we didn't need fuel, we would go down Hwy C south of Marshfield where the Amish lived.

One time I was driving. I looked left and the kids were giving me the "blow the air horn" sign. I grabbed the lanyard and pulled. I didn't see the horse on the other side of the road. He was raring back.

You can bet the worst coming out of the mouth of an Amish man was, "Razza frackin' English." LOL
