Indiana lawmakers met on Tuesday to overturn Governor Eric Holcolm's March veto of a bill that would have prevented biological males from competing in women and girls' sports. The vote passed 32 to 15 and will go into effect on July 1.

In March when he vetoed the bill, Holcomb said "that the legislation doesn't provide a consistent policy for what he called 'fairness in K-12 sports,'" reported local news.

K-12 sports

I didn't find out I was a lefty until the guys in the neighborhood tried to teach me to play softball. Now this wasn't 12" fast pitch. In Chicago they use 16" clinchers, and it is slow pitch. You do not have a glove, and everyone plays bare handed.

I couldn't hit the ball trying right-handed. Then one of the guys said, "Turn him around the other way." Then I could hit the ball.

I get my left handedness from my Mom who was a natural lefty. But they forced her to be right-handed in Catholic school. ;)
