The current situation in the Donbass has the Ukranians dug in in 3 positions and also on the far side of a river with a high concentration of men and equipment. The Russians are attacking from several sides, the Ukrainians are defending but Russia has air power, drones, helicopters and jets. Russian helicopters are built like tanks. They have the Pantsir to take out drones. And they have the S-300 and the S-500 to take out planes and missiles.
Some equipment from NATO has arrived and already been captured. The rest should be arriving soon but it has to make it safely across rail and roads to get to the front lines. The Ukraine is as big as Texas. It will take a week to ten days for the Ukrainian Army to collapse in the Donbass as Zelensky has already said the situation is bleak. Then it is on to Nikolaev or Mikolaev (2 different transliteration systems) which is the supply center for Odessa. And finally taking Transnistria.
