The US has announced that it will send the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) to Ukraine. The system is touted as the next “game changer,” but a 9 missile battery requires a total of 60 trucks if you include supply trucks. It requires an experienced artillery men a month to train to learn it.
Russia has air supremacy so 60 trucks assembling to attack Russian soldiers will be wiped out before they do anything. This system worked in Afghanistan but the Taliban had no air force.
Russian air defense can shoot down these rockets. The US rockets are GPS controlled but Russia can jam GPS signals.
The Donbass will fall before these weapons arrive. At that point, the Russians will be encircling Odessa their last Ukrainian target.

Seems the US military industrial complex has, in designing a lot of weaponry, largely assumed they would not be set up in combat conditions. Kinda like both Gulf Wars, where Saddam was kind enough to let the US stage it's invasion forces in Saudi Arabia without firing a shot until the invasion started.
