I found a walnut husk, 1975 or so. It had holes on both ends, and I found that by blowing on one end it made a whistling sound. After a bit of practice, that walnut husk could produce all kinds of sounds, trumpets, ukelele, trombone, banjo, Moog 60...

After a while, the neighbors thought we were hoarding chickens, and called the county Sheriff demanding their fair share of free eggs. We traded them a chemistry set from 1933, that was the last we heard from them. Made a few bucks later that year doing move-out cleanup. The smell was atrocious, but we got to keep to keep the filters.
