Now if you took this video and particularily frame 24 and asked someone just waking from a coma what they saw, how many people here think their answer would involve the word "airplane"? I have done relatively little investigation into the Pentagon crash. It looks like this plane is traveling extraordinarily low. How high off the ground would this be and how difficult is it to fly a plane that low? It must have descended pretty rapidly from some kind of cruising altitude. I've flown a small plane once, not comparable to one of these jets, of course, but even a small plane would require a certain amount of experience and dexterity to aim at so a low object and crash into it before hitting the ground (short of the target).

I saw a good explanation of this. The turbulence of flying that low at the high speeds they claim, in a jumbo jet, would make the manoeuvers impossible.

I don't know the mechanics, BTP, but intuitively that's what I would think as well - that flying a big plane like that so low into a building like the Pentagon would take some primo flying skills that these patsies weren't likely to have. I think it might be a tough job for a regular airline pilot, were he so inclined.
