Check out frame 24 of the second video released to Judicial Watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAaP4Z3zls8 Now if you took this video and particularily frame 24 and asked someone just waking from a coma what they saw, how many people here think their answer would involve the word "airplane"? I had never previously been a big proponent of missile theory, but that looks like a missile. Straight up.

How could inexperienced, untrained hijackers with adrenalin flowing maintain a very low, i.e., ground level approach without bringing that nose down and doing cartwheels? That missile appearing to be object didn't appear to have the height of any airplane I ever flew on. I don't recall seeing any tail fins or wings or whatever they're called, either.

Christian May [6th grader] I have done relatively little investigation into the Pentagon crash. It looks like this plane is traveling extraordinarily low. How high off the ground would this be and how difficult is it to fly a plane that low? It must have descended pretty rapidly from some kind of cruising altitude. I've flown a small plane once, not comparable to one of these jets, of course, but even a small plane would require a certain amount of experience and dexterity to aim at so a low object and crash into it before hitting the ground (short of the target).

There's no forward-moving damage in evidence. A missile is possible, but that leaves the collapsed portion lacking an explanation. Funny, how that works!

You're a pilot, if I remember right? Do you think some guys with limited aviation experience could fly a big plane like that so low into the Pentagon? I would think they'd just crash and burn before they hit the mark. How much aviation skill would something like that require?

Looks just like a missile, AND... here's the big kicker... Did anyone notice that the Jet Fuel burned off REALLY quickly? With that much jet fuel all over the place, especially the fuel that should have been all over the outside of the building, because that's where the fuel tanks are, surprisingly there were no continuing flames outside the building. Interesting to say the least. TO ME, that was NOT a jet.

So my question is: In this summer of threat, what did you do to protect, let's just say the Pentagon, from attack? Where were our aircraft when a missile is heading toward the Pentagon? Surely that is within the Pentagon's responsibility to protect -- force protection, to protect our facilities, to protect something -- our headquarters, the Pentagon. Is there anything that we did at the Pentagon to prevent that harm in the spring and summer of '01?

I saw a good explanation of this. The turbulence of flying that low at the high speeds they claim, in a jumbo jet, would make the manoeuvers impossible.

I don't know the mechanics, BTP, but intuitively that's what I would think as well - that flying a big plane like that so low into a building like the Pentagon would take some primo flying skills that these patsies weren't likely to have. I think it might be a tough job for a regular airline pilot, were he so inclined.

I see now that it was Gorelick who said missile but Rumsfeld says it himself another time. The fact that they both said missile rather than Flight 77 or a jet heading towards the pentagon is quite telling. How is it possible that that is not focused in on by the public?

I used to fly the 757. If I had to do such a thing, it would be necessary to crash short of the building, then depend on the inertia, to hit the damaged spot. With "ground effect" alone, the purported story is crap. Such is the geometry of the reality.
