The Iranians in the past had refused to sell drones to the Russians. Now that Iran is joining SCO and BRICS, they will probably demand that Russia give them the technology to upgrade their S-300 anti-missile system to S-400. That will reduce the likelihood of an American-Israeli attack. The Israelis and Saudis have been forming an anti-Iranian coalition which is obviously of concern to Iran. Turkey has the S-400 so why not Iran?
