Global security involves more than political and military matters. It also economic stability and the overcoming of poverty. It also must involve a dialogue of civilizations based on the principle " Security for one is security for all."
Since the end of the Cold War, there has been an attempt to establish a Unipolar world which means one center of authority, one unopposed force and one center of decide making."
This system is pernicious as it harms everyone including the one sovereign who is harmed from within. A Unipolar world has nothing to do with democracy which is majority rule.
Russians are taught about democracy by people who do not practice it themselves.
The Unipolar world is unacceptable and impossible in today's world.
The Unipolar world leads to arbitrary and unpopular actions which does not resolve problems. Wars and regional conflicts have not diminished but increased. All this in violation of international law. Because nobody can believe international law can protect them there is an international arms race.
The world is changing. The purchasing power parity of the GDP of both India and China is greater than the USA's. The GDP of the BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China) is greater than the Eu's. This gap will only increase in he future. Multipolarity will be strengthened by that economic growth.
This should lead to Multipolar diplomacy.
We need openness, transparency and predictability not unilateral force.
Nations that have abolished the death penalty freely participate in the use of lethal force in foreign lands.
I see him through the eyes of those millions of Soviet citizens who were enslaved, starved, and murdered in the KGB's (Putin's) gulags.
You might be thinking of Stalin or Lenin.
I'm not going to argue.
I hope you're not too upset about the negro/lesbian athlete that was taken into custody/prison trying to pervert the Russian culture by smuggling drugs into Russia with black privilege.
