We have reached the level of industrial warfare which is where we lose. China, Russia and Iran can turn out huge numbers of weapons. Russia has been buying drones from China and now Iran. The US Army normally uses as many artillery shells as Ukraine fires in 2 weeks. But Russia fires at least 10 times as many artillery shells as the Ukrainians. And as the article says, France has already given the Ukrainians a third of their long range artillery.
I blame NAFTA for the loss of productivity.
What are we going to do, ask China to send over a few boatloads of artillery shells?
What if Russia decides to go to Warsaw Poland next because NATO continues to piss them off?
If America is unwilling to fight a Thermonuclear war, there is nothing NATO can do to stop Russia from taking Poland.
The Russians are not likely to do anything but take the whole of the Ukraine, running out the embezzlers, fraudsters and war criminals. And then giving some territory to Poland and to Hungary. The tiny bit of land around Kiev will be dependent of the US and the EU for charity.
