Fiscal policy is responsible for inflation more so than monetary policy. The Fed is fighting the Treasury’s battle and stands a good chance of messing it up. Poster Comment: SEE CHART. Gasoline has doubled since Biden stole the election. But the US crop forecast is way over done. On September 16th, corn contracts are due for delivery in Chicago. That is when corn goes way up. Thousands of products use corn and will go way up. I only eat two canned foods (olives and tomato soup.) They both went up by 30%. I eat one bottled product, pickles. That went up just recently. I do not eat wheat products for health reasons. Wheat is also going way up. The Chinese have a big crop but are not exporting. And the Russians have a big crop but they were sanctioned. I do eat pasta made from lentils and a sprouted bread that is less than 10% sprouted wheat. My food prices have gone up but not as much as those of the people who rely on Big Ag for cheap stuff that shortens their lies. Food price hikes, the collapse of the Ukraine, possible rail strike Monday. Lots of angry voters will get a lot angrier just in time for the November elections.
