Taryl Dactyl and the Grass Rats Gang are in Demotte, IN, about 100 miles west of me on IN14.
That job took me six hours today on my mower, including a new stop switch, bearings behind the drive gears, a center carrier bearing and LR outer wheel bearing plus about 45 minutes drive time to get the bearings.
It was a bitch. My arthritic hands don't like working that hard anymore.
You're back in business. It's sounding good and seems to work good. I wasted about an hour trying to get the belt back on the way he did it, but I don't have enough strength left in my hands to do that. Came up with a slick way of getting the xmission spring back on after the belt is on, took about 4 seconds. I'll show you. Total parts were about $300. Three of those bearings I replaced were about $20/ea, seems kind of steep.
