That's one of the reasons they are doing all this sabre rattling over Pelosi stopping in Taiwan. Wars and threats of war have a way of redirecting the attention of angry people away from a failing central gov to some foreign demon.
That has shown to be an effective tool in forming foreign policy when they are trying to demonize certain countries, no matter which side you are on. ;)
