Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran are joining BRICS.

BRICS will sound the death knell for the Dollar and the Bretton Woods agreement.

And I recently saw an article that North Korea is sending 100,000 troops to Ukraine to support the flagging Russian invasion.

This is further proof that Communism did not die with the collapse of the Soviet Union. It has been waiting in the background for its chance at resurgence. ;)

BS. Russians sent fewer troops than the Ukes had. But they are winning. I follow daily reports. That counter invasion Zelensky ordered in the south near Kherson never happened because the troops mutinied rather than obey orders and die. Russians fire 50,00 artillery shells a day. Ukes lucky to fire 5,000.

The Ukes used older Russian HIND helicopters and attacked a fuel depot inside Russia destroying its capacity to deliver fuel to Russian frontline troops and vehicles.

Where was the vaunted Russian air defense? ;)

That sounds odd, quite frankly. They certainly don't speak Russian which would be a military logistical problem, and half of them might decide to defect either to Russia or Ukraine.

I certainly don't consider Russia communist at the present time as unlike with the USSR, everyone can now vote, and economic principles seem to be largely capitalist based & free of government price controls. Maybe the elections are largely rigged, but where are they not rigged?

But China is communist. NK is a dictatorship, and who knows what kind of economic model they have?

The CCP is the major hegemon in the south Pacific. Even the current President of the Philippines has decided to favor Beijing over their historical ties to the U.S. I am thinking they know which side the bread is buttered on.

Abe of Japan nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for ending the Korean War. Trump richly deserves that prize. ;)

One or two can get through but not very many. I have seen videos of Uke copters. They fly about 20 feet off the ground. They can do only one or two sorties a day vs 300 for the Ruskies. The Ukes are aiming at a nuclear power plant but the Ruskies knocked out their artillery. Yesterday I heard of 4 concentration points of the conflict on the frontlines. The Russians are firing 6,500 artillery rounds at each of the 4 zones. That is 26,000 a day. A total of 50,000 a day is fired by Russia.

I wasn't aware the war was formally ended.

It ended when Kim stepped across the DMZ and embraced the peacenik Moon. I think that was in 2018.

I remember that, but a formal war end involves a signed treaty.

I saw a story today that a Russian Air base in Crimea suffered explosions that destroyed about a dozen war planes.

Russian tourists are fleeing en masse and the roads back into southern Russia are jammed. ;)

Stop watching propaganda. They did lose some planes to sabotage organized by UK's MI-6. But Russia is still firing 50,000 artillery shells a day vs a few thousand by the Ukes. A leaked report said the Ukrainians had 191,000 casualties -killed and wounded. They lost 90,000 plus soldiers to desertion. NATO is willing to fight to the last Ukrainian. The Ukes are drafting men up to age 70.

I'm glad I didn't listen to that Serbian guy back in the early 90s when he said they were looking for people to go and fight in Bosnia.

When he said that I told him, "Keep looking." ;)
