We were supposed to work Ricky Van Shelton at the World Music Theater in Tinley Park, Illinois in early 90s. But he was sick with Strep throat and could not perform.
Alan Jackson was free and came is at the last minute as a substitute. He put on such a great performance they gave him a standing ovation.
That is one of those old memories I am so lucky to recall. ;)

It's been an eventful week. Someone close to me stepped on a [predatory lending] landmine. This was a bad one. I managed to diffuse it for just under $3,800. It was so deceptive, it had me fooled for several hours. Had I not caught it, it would've been close to $9,000, or worse after 90 days..
As soon as I have a 'paid-in-full' receipt in hand, I'm gonna contact the Indiana AG and maybe the FTC and make a heroic, fruitless attempt at tilting windmills. It'd make a great class action lawsuit.
She died of cancer in 2016.
My body count within the last year from SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) stands at five KFV (Killed From Vaxx), and two walking wounded, showing advanced dementia at a little over 60 y/o.
