Like, having homeless encampments or drug addicts or violent crime everywhere very few third world countries have that. However, heres something that is like a third world country: prosecuting the opposition after you get them out of office. This pretty much always happens in every third world country. RT: Pakistani police have pressed charges against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, accusing him of violating anti-terrorism laws, local authorities said on Monday. The move comes after Khan allegedly threatened a member of the judiciary and police officers. A police report was filed against the former prime minister after he vowed to sue a female judge and police agencies over what he said was the torturing of his chief of staff, Shahbaz Gill, while in custody. Gill himself is being detained under sedition charges after being arrested on August 9. The claims in question were reportedly made by Khan at a rally in Islamabad on Saturday. According to media reports, Khan appears to still be free. His Tehreek- e-Insaf party, which is now in opposition to the Pakistani government, has released a video featuring crowds of supporters gathering outside the home of the beleaguered politician, potentially to prevent police from detaining him. The police report containing the charges against Khan includes the testimony from magistrate judge Ali Javed, who apparently was present at the Islamabad rally and heard Khans words firsthand. You also get ready for it, we will also take action against you. All of you must be ashamed, the ex-PM reportedly said. If the prosecution manages to prove Khans guilt, he may face several years in prison. Merrick Garlands persecution of Donald Trump is straight out of the Pakistani playbook. This happens literally every time in Pakistan unless the opposition gets assassinated before they can be arrested. Khan is a cool guy, I think. I dont follow Pakistani politics closely, but he seemed to be getting railroaded by America-backed opposition. Hes a populist and popular, so he would try to stage a comeback like Donald Trump is trying to do but you cant stage a comeback from prison. Overall, however, the United States is much worse than a third world country. Individuals have so much less freedom in America, the government is much more corrupt in America, and the taxes are much more severe in America. In America, you feel like you have a machine constantly breathing down your neck, and you just dont feel that in other countries. Maybe in North Korea, but I dont think there is really any other country that can be compared to America, in terms of just a total lack of personal autonomy. And its not just third world countries. In China, you have a lot more freedom of speech. But also, China has a national law that vaccine mandates are illegal. There is at least 100 times the personal freedom in China than there is in America. The same is true of Russia. America is the most miserable country on earth, by a lot.
