The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Jason DiPrima of Kingston, Georgia, was arrested Thursday for soliciting a prostitute, a first-degree misdemeanor, and booked into the Polk County Jail, where he was released after paying a $500 bond.

Polk County's largest city is Lakeland. When we ran the big truck to Florida every week we would stay in a motel in Lakeland so we could shower and sleep in a real bed. It cost the boss $50 to rent the room.
We would do this when we had a delivery near Tampa the following day.
One time I had this green kid with me. I got some bad shellfish at the restaurant next to the motel and was sick as a dog the next morning. I told the kid he had to get us to the drop. I hit the sleeper.
When I woke up, we were in a subdivision in St. Pete. I told him, "I don't know where we are, but you got us in here and you get us out. If we get stopped by a cop, you're going to get the ticket."
Some guy told him that road went all the way around and came out in the same place. he was lucky it didn't end up in a cul de sac or we would have been screwed.
We had to go back the same way he came in since there was no entrance ramp going toward the Skyway Bridge. Luckily, we were still on time for the delivery otherwise we would have had to wait for everyone else to unload first.
And that wasn't the only time he missed a turn. That happened at least two other t8mes that I recall.
I bet he isn't driving trucks any longer either. He just could not find his way around. ;)
