Mothers Against Illegal Aliens' founder: job of illegal immigrants' children is "to dumb down the American children and overpopulate our schools"

Summary: On Fox News' Your World, Michelle Dallacroce, the founder of Mothers Against Illegal Aliens, asserted that there is no reason "that we have to have" immigrant women and children in the United States, since there are no jobs for "the women and the children [to] do ... other than their children's job is to dumb down the American children and overpopulate our schools."

During a panel discussion on the May 18 edition of Fox News' Your World with Neil Cavuto, Michelle Dallacroce, the founder of Mothers Against Illegal Aliens, asserted that there is no reason "that we have to have" immigrant women and children in the United States, since there are no jobs for "the women and the children [to] do ... other than their children's job is to dumb down the American children and overpopulate our schools." Dallacroce made her remark in response to a comment by Linda Chavez, president of the Center for Equal Opportunity, who argued that "we need to have an avenue for more people to come legally," because, "[w]e're creating two million jobs a year and we need these people."

As Media Matters for America previously noted, Your World recently aired a segment asking whether the May 1 "Day Without Immigrants" protests were "freedom of expression or economic terrorism."

From the May 18 edition of Fox News' Your World with Neil Cavuto:

DALLACROCE: Well, I drove about three hours this morning just to get an opportunity to deliver about 1,500 e-mails that I have received from mothers and grandmothers and all Americans all in America, ever since I've been on Fox talking about our children, and these are all of them right here -- every single one. And I wasn't having the opportunity to do that and it's very disappointing.

I was actually hoping that -- for the compassion -- for the president to know that I made my way all the way here to deliver this to see that he loved the American children as much as he cares about our neighbors that he cares so much about. And one thing I'd like to have issue with him is that the dignity that he talks about giving to these people, the dignity that he is stripping from the American people and the legal American residents and the legal immigrants that have come to our country is what he's stripping when he talks about the dignity of rewarding illegal aliens by giving them citizenship or a path to it.

CAVUTO: Linda Chavez, what do you think of that? Is he doing that? He says it's not amnesty. I have heard conservatives say it is. What do you think?

CHAVEZ: Well, I think what he's doing is acting in the best interest of the United States. We have a need for labor. People want to come here to work. We have employers who want to hire them. And the problem has been that they've been coming illegally. I think nobody can support the idea of somebody breaking the law and coming in against the law, and that's why we are now going to have a fence across more of the border; we're going to have more border patrol agents to get people who come illegally but we need to have an avenue for more people to come legally. We're creating two million jobs a year and we need these people.

DALLACROCE: Well, I'm -- I have a question. What jobs do the women and the children do that we have to have them here other than their children's job is to dumb down the American children and overpopulate our schools? And until the president starts talking about how these illegal children and women are affecting our country, that's not a comprehensive plan.

Alot of the illegals are encouraging their daughters have many, many children and at a very early age. I heard the other day that the high school drop out rate for Hispanics is 50%! Of course, the Aztlan group is planning on taking over the US by their numbers, breeding like cockroaches, and it looks like it's happening.

Secure our borders, save our nation!

No doubt true ..think of the recent study that revealed that 50% of births in the US are hispanic.. now consider all those children are now American citizens.. our government WANTS this..both parties.. the CFR plan in action .. and if you read closely at the immigration proposals the language used is the same as in the CFR proposal for the Americas..

This dumb twit is merely exploiting this issue by creating hatred and alarm that is unjustified and incendiary.

Why do these people not see that the true villains in this issue are those who enticed people into this country to leverage one work force against another?

Why do they not take on those business leaders who make incredible profit by disenfranchising Americans from job security, benefits and wage levels?

Answer: Because these people are incredibly powerful politically and economically and like any bully, they pick the easy target. It would be a bloody battle if they took on those who worked to build the immigrant demographics, so they pick on those in the issue with relatively no political savvy or resources to fight back.

Stop picking on the economic whores, and hang the Business leader pimps. It would be a costly battle on the short term, but pay far more dividends and be far more beneficial on the long term.

I worked in the Forests of the Pacific Northwest and Northern California for many years. My job disappeared because of illegal immigrants in the 1980s. I used to make around 16 to 20 dollars an hour, and these poor guys only make around 8-10.

Many of them I worked with as I was being eased out of my job are my friends and have built lives in my community and are a recognized asset to it. Many of them own homes and their children did quite well in school.

Saying these people are any less valuable as human beings then us of earlier waves of immigrants to these shores is disingenuous and ignorant.

All human beings are equally important and valuable. To work to dehumanize and vilify in a racist and lynch mob fashion helps nobody, and accomplishes nothing of value.

It is the CFR, the government and corporate interests.. that are to blame for this.. NAFTA caused the Mexican influx into this country ..destroyed local farmers.. and their local economies.. If Bush etc that were truthfully concerned about the Mexicans then the administration would work with Fox to help FIX the Mexican economy.. I do though believe that the law must be followed and the illegals need to be deported..

Except they will not be deported. I agree largely with your well articulated take on just who is to blame for this problem. However, I do not believe that prioritizing the offenses so the jaywalking is made into the capital offense and the hit and run massacre of people by a drunk driver is thought to perhaps deserve a status as a ticketable infraction - to use that as an analogy for the offenses of those who came here versus those of those who enticed them here.

When the anti-immigration issue becomes responsible, has focus and the courage to take on the dangerous criminals in all this, then perhaps you will get me to move some of my own focus as to who stays and who goes.

Even then, I will never, ever support a wholesale deportation. That is unworkable and mean spirited and destroys important elements of this country that made it what it is. If such an action was ever attempted, count me in as one of those who would actively work to derail it.

The influx of Hispanic culture to our city of Eugene has largely benefited and enriched us. So the best I would ever possibly support would be a lessening of the demographics involved with this wave of immigrants, not the eradication of it.

Well on this we do disagree.. although I do have sympathy for the Mexican's plight which was caused by outside interests.. What is happening is the influx is first hurting the poor Americans.. their jobs taken first.. and now its the middle class plus we cannot afford this .. hospitals shutting down..and the school systems are totally overloaded.. our country is at the breaking point for many reasons.. but the illegal issue as well as the expansion of outsourcing and H1-B visas is causing the unemployment problem .. it is IMO the most disasterous issue we're now facing..

Those that enticed those folks here are counting on their patsy population becoming the heavy in all this. I see an incredibly tragic missed opportunity in this issue.

If illegals were networked with to enlist as allies, it would be far easier to take on those who so cruelly and in a Machiavellian fashion set one people against another to reap themselves huge economic benefits.

Remember that an earlier influx of people from the drought struck "dust bowl" states during the Great Depression was also created by advertising and influence of much the same sort of business interest to create cheap labor in California.

Remember too that these "Okies" were hated and vilified, with much the same rhetoric in play as today concerning how these people would destroy the cultural integrity of the Golden State.

California survived, and all those people and their descendants have long been assimilated into local culture. Not taking on those who created "The Grapes or Wrath" situation has resulted in encouraging business leaders to recreate the windfall of the 1930s today using Latinos and Latinas instead of 'Okies.'

Think about it, as what is tragic about this issue is we are reliving history largely because we never learned it's lessons. And this is largely because as those who created the problem then were never taken on it was and is very hard to do so.

we need to have an avenue for more people to come legally. We're creating two million jobs a year and we need these people. (Linda Chavez said the above. She is half Mexican-American by birth. Her husband is Jewish.)

We are only creating 2 million jobs a year. That is not enough for all of the young people entering the labor force. What has happened is that 3,500,000 native born Americans over 50 have dropped out of the labor force. And jobs have disappeared for black men under 30. And wages have dropped due to illegal immigration. I know a gardener who is white and works 40 plus hours a week and does not make enough money to rent a one bedroom apartment for him and his son.

We need a wall to keep the illegals out. We also need an insta check system to get those who are already here to leave. If they can't find work or get welfare they will leave. There are 500,000 illegal aliens in our jails. They did not all come here to work. We need to round up all gang members who are here illegally and deport them.

It is not strictly capitalism at fault. Look at the banking system. See the lead article The Fiction of Government Debt at http://WWW.OpeningMind.Blogspot.com

That's a start, but Bush claims we can't round them up; yet it's obvious we have already hundreds of thousands in custody for crimes.

Robert Frost's poem, 'Mending Fences' is my sentiment concerning a wall. If one is put up, it should be torn down; illegally if necessary. With full responsibility for doing so accepted along non-violent civil disobedience guidelines. It is obscene to even consider the notion of a fence.

Thanks for the link, I'll look at it. In any event, tell me, how is the banking system not part of the capitalist paradigm? I'll look at your link later when I've the time and see if I can figure out what you mean, though do feel free to clarify your observation.

You did not respond to the plight of my friend the white gardener who cannot make enough money to rent a one bedroom apartment.

You did not respond to the 3,500,000 who are over 50 and could not find work.

You did not respond to the plight of the young black men under 30 who dropped out of the job market.

You really ought to solve these problems before adding more. Please tell me how you would solve these problems before you talk to me about tearing down a fence. Socialism has been tried. It does not work.

The problem with Mexico began before NAFTA. Their biggest problem is over population. There are more than 100,000,000 Mexicans. Look at Bangladesh. They have 144,000,000 in an area smaller than the state of Iowa. They have 20,000,000 living illegally in India. I propose the following solution. If you do not agree you are a racist and a bigot. We take all 20,000,000 illegals living in India and 130,000,000 from BAngladesh, move them here and grant them full citizenship. Then we take in 300,000,000 from Africa and give them citizenship too. And we take 250,000,000 from Latin America. And 200,000,000 from India and 200,000,000 from China. If you do not agree, you are a racist and a bigot.

The whole world is overpopulated. Do you propose to solve all the world's problems by destroying America?

Please read the Fiction of Government debt at http://www.OpeningMind.Blogspot.com before you talk about capitalism. Please tell me how you will solve the problems of working adults who cannot rent even the smallest apartment before you tell me I must increase the supply of housing by millions of units without raising prices.

"You did not respond to the plight of my friend the white gardener who cannot make enough money to rent a one bedroom apartment."

So what? I have similar friends. I have been homeless myself. I've come back from an Army school my Special Forces Guard unit sent me too and the University of Oregon students had soaked up the apartments. I slept in my VW bug for two months.

I know how it feels, and I am not lacking empathy for anyone on that note.

"You did not respond to the 3,500,000 who are over 50 and could not find work."

Yes, there is a problem there, so what is your point in your item by item browbeating routine?

"You really ought to solve these problems before adding more. Please tell me how you would solve these problems before you talk to me about tearing down a fence. Socialism has been tried. It does not work."

"Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Remember who said that? Is he a socialist because he hated the partitioning of Berlin?

The fence is a lousy idea that won't fly. As for socialism, all countries, including the U.S. has trappings of that sort of stragedy for dealing with certain problems. You don't have a clue as to what you speak of here.

"The problem with Mexico began before NAFTA. Their biggest problem is over population. There are more than 100,000,000 Mexicans. Look at Bangladesh. I am an environmentalist. The overpopulation problem of the planet is everybody's problem, regardless of the country they are in. There is no wall, law, or other contrived barrier that will hold back the chaos and death that will result when the population of the Earth reaches the critical mass where enough people are hungry and desperate enough to do anything as they have nothing to lose.

You can play around with labels and try to bait me all you like. I am not going to be put on the defensive by the likes of you on the topic. We are all in this together, regardless of the country we are in.

Your little fence is like the levees in New Orleans, the population explosion the hurricane that burst them. It's as simple as that.

I am not trying to bait you. I am trying to get you to understand that if 150 countries in the world have too many children, then that is their problem. And we will accomplish nothing by destroying America.

Can you not see that overpopulation makes hosuing too expensive for the working poor to afford?

If the majority of nations are moronic and overpopulate themselves, then why should I suffer paycuts and housing cost increases because they do not or will not understand the relation between overpopulation and poverty?

Why should we suffer homelessness because they keep sending us millions of people and they don't stop coming?

Why should we pay taxes to support 500,000 illegal aliens in jails?

Why should we pay taxes to support the health care and the welfare of millions of illegal aliens?

I do not see why we who have learned to control our population continue to suffer from a problem we do not contribute to?

Why can't we treat foreign nations like adults and say that actions have consequences. If you overpopulate we will not solve your problems.

I am not trying to bait you. Just read the Fiction of Government Debt. You will learn a lot they never told anyone in school about the government and Wall Street. http://www.OpeningMind.Blogspot.com
