Russian aviation, missile and artillery troops hit 12 Ukrainian command posts in the course of the special operation in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.

"Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile and artillery troops hit twelve Ukrainian command posts in the areas of Serebryanka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Ivano-Daryevka, Veseloe, Soledar, Zaitsevo and Pavlovka settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic, Uspenovka and Gulyaypole of the Zaporozhye Region, Shirokoe, Kiselevka and Novogrigorovka of the Nikolayev Region, as well as 47 artillery units, manpower and military equipment in 152 areas," he said.

Russia is an industrial nation. Russia can fly 300 sorties a day, fire hundreds of missiles and fire 60,000 to 70,000 artillery shells a day. America is post-industrial and has to borrow money from China, and then buy things from China to go to war with China.

Sure they have industry, but they are likely facing supply chain issues due to continuing sanctions. Production of military hardware can be disrupted if just one small part of 10,000 needed to make something is not available. It can normally take about a year for a country like Russia to adjust to that (my guess).

There are questions about why the Russians haven't targeted the recent Ukrainian build up before it retook an admittedly small amount of territory over the past 2 weeks. Unless it's a trap of some kind.

Gonzalo Lira said Russians are happy there shops are full. The sanctions are against Russian exports of oil and natural gas.

Missiles and air sorties took out a lot of the armor and artillery that was on the trains that stopped due to the lack of electricity. They have not yet started their offensive in the Donbass. The Russians are ready for them.
