Federal officials who worked on COVID outbreak dumped stocks ahead of market-collapsing pandemic

There are many instances of blatant scandal stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic involving federal government officials, but none so aggravating as findings reported this week by The Wall Street Journal.

It seems that as federal officials who worked on the pandemic were first getting word of some ‘new virus’ spreading across the globe after originating in China, they dumped stocks ahead of a Wall Street-slamming economic shutdown.

Should anyone truly be surprised? How else did Nancy Pelosi move all her money to 3m stock and like so many others that followed suit? How many people moved their stock to Pfizer after they knew the truth of what was really going on? There is really no reason to believe that nobody saw this coming.

How many people moved their stock to Pfizer after they knew the truth of what was really going on?

Peeloosley ain't that smart. I've owned PFE stock forever, it didn't do that great and their dividends suck. The big play was XOM [Exxon/Mobil] after the phoney election when it got down to $34. I doubled down at $40. It closed at $107 today with a dividend yield of 3.29% [$0.88/share]. At $40 XOM's div yield was 10%+.

It was a risky trade with the scuttlebutt about them cancelling the dividends [see GM circa 2009, it went to zero], but it paid off big in the end. 150%+ profit in about two years.
