During the course of their interview, Ruhle interrupted Governor Hochul, called her out, and stated that New Yorkers do not feel safe under her leadership. Gov. Hochul: The Governor of New York is working in partnership with the mayor of New York City
I said, Mayor, Im here to help you. Let me help get people who are severely mentally out of the subways. Lets talk about getting more police officers. A couple of weeks ago, we got cameras in all the subway trains. Were starting with that process
No governor has spent more money than I have on public safety in history. Ruhle: Im going to interrupt you then. Heres the problem. We dont feel safe. You might be working closely with Mayor Adams. You may have spent a whole lot of money, but I walk into my pharmacy and everything is on lockdown because of shoplifters. Im not going in the subway. People dont feel safe in this town. So you may have done these things, but right now were not feeling good. Were worried. We could be San Francisco. Hochul: Well never be San Francisco. Ruhle: Why? Hochul: Because we are already making a difference. We already have homicides and shootings down dramatically from what they had been last year. And thats the most heinous of all crimes there are. RNC Research @RNCResearch · Even MSNBC is calling out Democrat Kathy Hochul. "Here's the problem: We don't feel safe...I walk into my pharmacy, and everything is on lockdown because of shoplifters. I'm not going in the subway. People don't feel safe in this town." https://twitter.com/i/status/1588891259053252609 Overall index crime in New York City increased in August 2022 by 26% compared with August 2021 (11,357 v. 9,014). Five of the seven major index-crime categories saw increases, driven by a 38% increase in robbery (1,630 v. 1,181), a 34.7% increase in grand larceny (4,687 v. 3,480), and a 31.1% rise in burglary (1,356 v. 1,034), according to its website. Voters in New York are concerned about inflation, rising costs, and the rising crime rate. Neither a Republican senator nor a Republican governor has been elected to office in New York in the past two decades, but that could soon change. Poster Comment: Funny. I give the edge to the Pelosi's and SF, but it's close...

I have a cousin who lived in NYC. He moved west to San Francisco . He told me he likes the weather out west a lot better than in NY. No snow in Frisco. LOL "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one." Edmund Burke
I saw a video where these guys driving a Rolls Royce SUV pulled up and robbed the guys that had just looted a store in NYC. ;) "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one." Edmund Burke
