Does anyone know why he was in a wheelchair? Was it due to disease or some accident? I will miss Sherman Skolnick. I first heard his reports on Tom Valentine's Radio Free America back in the late 1980s.
There's lots of corrupt pols and judges who will now breathe a sigh of relief to have this man out of the picture. Sherman Skolnick was an investigative reporter par excellence and will be sorely missed.

Wow, I missed this sad news yesterday.

I think he was in a wheelchair because of boyhood polio. He had been in a wheelchair since the 1950's.

Wow. And he accomplished more from that chair than most of us with healthy bodies could ever dream of. I hope we will see him again. Thank you, Sherman.

there's no information in the report about the cause of death.
When I first awoke from my political slumber, I became a shortwave addict. Skolnick was a mainstay. Sad. He'll be missed.
Thank you, christine. It is really sad however he died. I hope, at least, it was natural causes.
