Well, the Conspiracy theory put out by the left was that MAGA people were responsible for the attack on Mr. Pelosi. But I guess that theory gets a pass.
The main reason it's important is because it raises the question as to whether the perp broke into the home or was invited in. Of course one of the charges against him was that he broke into the home, but it's far more likely he was invited in and there for quite some time before police arrived.
But what will most certainly happen: The guy will be offered and will take a plea deal and one of the terms will be dropping the breaking and entering charge. That way the question will never be answered in the public spotlight. The public will assume, and it will be accepted as historic fact that he broke in.
