NWS is calling for 9 to 11 inches of snow the next day or so.
I need to check the tires on the snowblower. They passed the boot on the tire test Sunday, but it was pulling to the right pretty bad. I guess I should break out my low pressure tire gauge this time.
When it gets this bad, I have to do the alley out to the street which triples the amount of work. Sumbitch!
Apparently we must be related because not only did my dad have to do that, but school was all year round and they had no holidays. Every day, you trudged through the snow. Even in summer. He then went on to tell me about how important school was. He dropped out of high school, became a criminal, went to prison, got his GED, and hated people who had an education.
But, I still had to go to school. Regardless if there was a holiday or not. I’d get to school, it would be Lincoln’s Birthday and I would be the only kid on the playground because NOBODY ELSE HAD PARENTS AS IGNORANT AS MINE.
Whoa. I've never heard of the year-round school or no holiday thing -- I'll have to check with my dad on those. He'll probably remember those when I mention them. I doubt if his school had a playground.
