Democrats hold a 34-33 advantage in the Minnesota State Senate.

Democrats hold a 70-64 advantage in the Minnesota State House of Representatives.

And the legislation will cause electricity prices to skyrocket.

This comes at the same time that Joe Biden banned mining in the Iron Range, a Democrat-dominant working-class area in north-eastern Minnesota.

The new energy infrastructure in Minnesota will ban mining here at home as Biden struck a deal with African nations who use child labor and China where they use slave labor.

All in the name of climate change – the new religion of the left.

Alpha News reported:

The Minnesota House passed legislation after seven hours of debate late Thursday night that would require the state’s electricity grid to be 100% carbon-free in 17 years.

This is an unrealistic timeline that could endanger the lives of Minnesotans if it fails while causing their electricity bills to skyrocket, Republicans argued throughout the night.

They unsuccessfully offered several amendments to the bill, including lifting the state’s moratorium on new nuclear power plants, allowing for the use of carbon sequestration technologies, and delaying the standard to consider its impact on child and slave labor in the green energy supply chain.

“Frankly, what this bill will be doing today is making Minnesota reliant on nations around the globe that have no labor standards and no environmental standards. Minnesota in this bill will build a clean grid economy on the backs of child slaves in China and poor environmental regulations in Indonesia and the Congo,” Rep. Spencer Igo, R-Wabana Township, said at a press conference ahead of the debate.

He said the resources to build a clean energy future are right in Minnesota’s backyard, yet the federal government has now banned mining on 250,000 acres of the Iron Range.

“The third-largest deposits of copper, nickel and cobalt that exist in the known world are only 250 miles north of this Capitol. Instead of investing in those resources … we have decided to export it around the world where carbon emissions will be 20, 25, or 30 times higher than if we were to do it here in Minnesota,” he continued.

These assholes are trying to ram through anti gun legislation at a time when every criminal can do whatever they want. We had several high profile shootings where one mentally ill fuck shot the cops. Nobody asked where he got the guns. Because since 2009 he was a prohibited person. Then we had a pedophile child porn guy shoot the cops, who then killed himself. Then we had the perfect case study in black stupidity where a black permit to carry holder shoots a 16 year old retarded gang banger wannabe within 1000 feet of a school. The fucking prick was carrying a gun on school property or within 1000 feet of one and yet our mayor and every politician was screaming that the laws on the books did not do enough.

If they only knew who passed that fucking law, their messiah Joe Biden.

So when I see a gaggle of fucking greenie retards thinking that some how we are going to get fairy dust to heat our homes in winter, where sometimes it reaches -40 on a sunny day, this does not fucking surprise me. Here’s why.

In Minnesota, there is a profound problem with intellectual honesty. You cannot say what you think without someone else saying “You can’t say that!” Because someone will be offended. You guys should have seen it when Covid was happening, and all these cucks were wearing masks like somehow that was going to save them. I was asked to leave a few stores, but what was funny was when these fucking lefties would shriek about how I am murdering people and I was right all along. Have seen some of those same lefties since out wandering in public still wearing their goddamned masks.

Every single bit of this country that has a democrat voting record is a dyed in the world moron. If the power went out today, and there were 10 of these assholes freezing in the cold, and they wanted to huddle by the fire, I’d run them the fuck off because they couldn’t possibly want to be warm from burning wood, as that would go against their belief in saving the planet.

Every democrat is a traitor to the human race and every republican is their whipping boy.

The Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA) was first introduced in the U.S. Senate in February 1990 as S. 2070[1] by (Jewish) Senator Herb Kohl of Wisconsin and then was incorporated into the Crime Control Act of 1990 that was signed into law by President George H. W. Bush.

Technically, any person (except an on-duty cop or school security guard) who does not have a license issued by the State to carry a firearm is in violation of the GFSZA within a 1000 feet of a school. The GFSZA makes no exception for carrying a gun without a license in a state does not require a license to carry. So even in a "constitutional carry" state where no license is required to carry, carrying a firearm within 1000 feet of a school is still a federal felony, with a $5000 fine and up to 5 years in prison.

Also, the GFSZA makes no exception for carrying in a state that has a reciprocity agreement with the carrier's home state. So even if you're licensed to carry in your own state, you can't legally carry in any other sate without being in violation.

Thanks to George HW Bush.

However, this federal law might be enforced only selectively; meaning they would use it only when they really want to burn somebody. Here's a comment on the law from somebody who calls himself Cire purporting to be federal LEO:

As a federal law enforcement officer, I can tell you that it is all smoke and mirrors. The only time I have ever seen anyone charged with this is as an enhancement when they were already being charged with another felony and it happened to be in a GFSZ.

As far as off duty officers carrying, many state/local LEOs have 24/7 peace officer status in their state and can be criminally charged, or disciplined for failure to act, even off-duty. Of course that act can vary from getting fully engaged, down to simply dialing 911. If this is their agency policy, they are in official capacity 24/7.

As this is a federal law, the US Attorney’s Office would have to accept the charge. Absent other circumstances (as mentioned in the first paragraph), the chances of being “pulled over” by a Fed LEO while you are in a GFSZ are virtually none.

If you did manage to get pulled over by a rogue Federal Protective Service officer, US Forest Service, etc near a federal building that happened to be near a GFSZ, you’d have a better chance of seeing a flying unicorn then to actually have the USAO accept the charge, They rarely take the legitimate cases that are presented, so this one wouldn’t stand a chance (unless there is more to your story, like drugs in the car., felon in possession of a weapon, etc). It would be extremely unlikely that this charge would be filed as a stand-alone charge.

If anyone believes that an off-duty LEO is going to pull over and secure their weapon in the trunk every time they approach a GFSZ, then I have some magic jumping beans that are on sale, this week only, for $29.99 + S&H.

The reality is no one in or around the school will know you have your weapon unless you brandish it, you draw it for a legitimate reason (hopefully), or you do a piss poor job of concealing it (Desert Eagle with a t-shirt on).
