Unless food prices collapse in China soon, I expect Brazilian food supply to be curtailed, and a food spike in the rest of the world to ensue. This should lead inflation to surprise to the upside again...

There are nations that ban China and other nations with dollars from clearing their shelves of food end exporting it to richer people. Eggs are ten dollars a dozen in NYC. But we still export food to China and allow them to buy farm land whose crops are sent to China. But we have the best Congress that money can buy.
