But they could raise pasture raised beef and chickens on a paddock system. You send cows through a paddock and move them to a fresh paddock the next day. On day 4 you send the chickens into the first paddock so they can eat all the maggots the flies left. That way you get to sell beef, chickens and eggs from one pasture. And you have cow and chicken manure to fertilize your fields.
