20 years ago China tested their ability to cause earthquakes in Australia near a ranch when the older couple was away for the weekend. There were no other white people around for 50 miles. It worked. All 3 major powers can produce quakes. But Turkey is on an unusual conjunction of plates. And we are in a Grand Solar Minimum so we will have more major quakes and volcanoes.
