Suns were down by 9 with about 7 minutes left. down by 1 point while in-bounding at 4 seconds left. hit the shot with 1 seconds left. then dallas got ball and by some fluke phoenix got it back and made 2 free throws icing on cake.

league MVP Steve Nash had 27 points, 16 assists and 5 rebounds. shot 11 for 18 and 2 for 5 from 3. made 3 of 3 free throws. and enabled boris diaw to score 34.

Dallas went home disappointed on their own court. maybe they shouldn't have traded steve nash?

Suns were actually down by 6 with less than a minute left, and then won by 3. I don't think Dallas will forget this game.

I can't get the story right for nothing, it was so exciting.

suns were 9 points down with 3:43 left in game, dallas crowd was cheering loudly tasting victory. suns took the game. crowd was still cheering with 5 seconds left when they scored and were ahead by 1. but suns still won. and then hit 1 field goal and 2 free throws in 1 second to win by 3. crowd was silent. everyone was shocked.

that is exactly how they beat the clippers in game 6 of that series.

will the suns produce another triple over-time game in the nba finals like they did in 1976 & 1993? I think they can play with anybody.

but starter raja bell was injured and will be out for a few games it seems. steve nash was not injured. he's 6'2", white and best player in the NBA.

They trailed by nine with just 3:26 remaining before the two-time MVP turned Dallas' home court into his personal playground. Nash scored Phoenix's next 10 points on a pair of 3-pointers, a layup and two foul shots. With the deficit trimmed to one, he went back to his familiar role of passer, finding Shawn Marion for the go-ahead hoop with 43 ticks left as the Suns hung on for a 121-118 road win in Game 1 of the West finals Wednesday. For his efforts, Nash earned 10 Nestlé Crunch Time Points.

an incredible end to that game.

Suns play again tomorrow night. They only need to win 7 more games to win it all.

the Nestle summary didn't mention that after the suns took the lead with 43 seconds left the mavericks took the lead turned hands several times. The mavericks scored with 4 seconds left taking the lead. then phoenix in-bounded and with 1 second left put up winning shot.
