I remember when a local factory had a hazardous chemical accident. I saw and followed dozens with what I diagnosed as chemical burns of the lungs. I had to admit a few to hospital with chemical pneumonia. They coughed for months and some ended up totally disabled.
It's hard to tell what kind of hazardous polymerization or whatever occurred in the fire especially if they had a mixed witch's brew of chemicals. I know one of them was phosgene which is bad enough in itself. When I'd cut the grass, my ex-wife couldn't be around.
