California is about to receive its dozenth-or-so atmospheric river rainstorm this winter season after many years of persistent, crippling drought. And the consequence of this deluge of precipitation is massive flooding in some of the Golden States prime growing regions.

Commercial Ag kills soil biology. On an organic farm that soil biology makes little living spaces and tunnels for themselves so they can store water when there is a drought. That soil biology breathes in air and breathes out carbon dioxide which makes plants grow. When the warm, tropical rains come they will melt the snow pack and cause floods.
